Seller: ozzy_jukebox_parts (104) 100%, Location: Adelaide, South Australia, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 202525831778 Rock-Ola 1975 jukebox model 460, with 160 selections & remote volume control accessory. The Rock-Ola 460 is a rare find here in Australia, this is due to Australia content / import law’s back in the 1970’s to protect the local manufactures, hence you will find many more Australian built Rowe/AMI machines of the 60’s & 70’s than any other brand of jukebox. This 160 selection (80 records) jukebox was manufactured in Chicago Illinois USA in 1975 then spent it’s working life some were in Indiana, to retain the heritage & Americana of this history it still has the half dollar & quarter pricing tags. If you are into the 1970's Retro, this is the most sort after machine !! “How did it get here?” I hear you ask. Well i’m going to tell you, it was found in a warehouse on the north east coast of the San Francisco Bay Area where it had sat for many years, then imported to Adelaide only a few years ago, as i had too many projects on the go, it was put on the back burner, but once i found an Australian delivered machine of the same vintage with a bad cabinet i was able to sacrifice it for the 240v components, (those being the power supply & the fluro’ ballast’s units) it was only a short time to refurbish this beautiful machine, back to it’s former glory, retaining the original F592 lock with key (spare keys available). The famous bullet proof Rock-Ola record mechanism & selector system even after many years of sitting in a warehouse just needed a good clean & service, but i did replace a few components with NOS parts to give ease of future serviceability, the intermix system was converted to select between small & large hole records automatically, playing both at 45rpm (this system is typically disabled here in Australia in favour of small hole records only) Work did not stop here as the amplifier has been stripped & re-built to my typically high T.J.E standards using many obsolete & hard to find Hi-end audio grade components, resulting in a like new unit with a rich warm sound of a jukebox amplifier, as it should be. All of the information decals are on the inside of the machine with those that were either missing or badly damaged replaced with new reproduction decals, the coin mech’ has been converted to accept Australian 20 cent & 10 cent coins to still give that old school feel of dropping a coin, you will get 7 credits for 20c & 3 credits for 10c. Both of the fluro’ tubes have been replaced (to give long life & well i do stock these odd size tubes) along with a new 5 meter power cord. From my personal stock i have added a #2122 manual remote volume control & Full set of service manual’s (making this a very rare combination here in Australia) To sum it all up, this Rock-Ola 460 jukebox is offered here fully refurbished, with #2122 Remote volume control with 12 meters of cable, Full set of service manuals for the jukebox including many tech’ sheets, new N44 stylus (fitted) & a spare stylus, special oil for lubrication, Record cleaning kit (spray & cloth), Mixed box of #53 & #257 bulbs, Fully loaded with 80 random records with title strips CD with title strip making program that uses Microsoft Word to produce them, to get you started i will supply about 12 sheets of heavy grade paper to print them on (some matt, some glossy). I have reproduced the factory shipping parts along with reproduction tags & a reprint of the unpacking tech’ sheet, these will be fitted for safe transportation.Thank you for looking Condition: Used Insights Exclusive
